Sharjah Onshore Concession
On 23 February 2008, the Ruler of Sharjah and its dependencies, His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi and Crescent Petroleum signed a concession agreement to explore the Sharjah block.

Pakistan
The company’s concession rights in Pakistan were located in two blocks near the River Indus in the northwestern flank of the petroliferous Potwar Basin, in a complex geological area that covered over 2000 sq km.
Gulf South Asia
Crescent Petroleum’s Gulf-South Asia Gas Project (GUSA) was the first workable conceptual study for producing, transmitting by pipeline and delivering natural gas from Qatar to Pakistan and eventually to other parts of the Indian subcontinent.
Egypt
The East Khalda concession in Egypt’s Western Desert covered around 861 sq km. Crescent Petroleum completed a full geological and geophysical evaluation, including a 200 km seismic survey, in 1990 of the acreage leading to selection and drilling of the first well in 1992 to a TD of 13,500 feet.
Montenegro
Crescent Petroleum was involved in a joint venture with Jugopetrol Kotor to explore acreage offshore Montenegro. Crescent Petroleum had a 49% working interest in Block 1, an area of 3,830 sq km, located offshore Montenegro in the South Adriatic Basin.
Argentina
Crescent Petroleum held a 52.44% interest in the Cinturon Costero Block, lying offshore in the San Jorge Basin in Argentina. The concession was operated through Golfo Petrolero.
Canada
Crescent Petroleum also held the controlling interest in Buttes Resources Canada Limited (BRCL) which it acquired in 1989. BRCL was the holder of significant gas and oil production and reserves in the provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan, as well as large exploration acreage in the provinces of British Columbia and the Northwest Territories, Canada.
